A Guide To Displaying Your Wall Canvases

Hey there! Welcome back to our blog. For our new readers, we at Print For Fun provide high-quality canvas printing Singapore with fast turnaround time. In today’s blog post, we will be guiding you through how you can easily put up your wall canvases. We also have some tips for you that can help you decide on which canvas size would best suit your wall.

Let’s go!

5 MINUTES IS ALL YOU NEED

If you don’t already know, our wall canvases are all ready-to-hang! There is no need to go through the hassle of knocking in the brackets or cracking your head and following video tutorials to figure out how to put up your wall canvases. We have done all the heavy lifting for you. It will only take you 5 minutes to put it up.

Things you need:
3M Hook
Bubble Level

Place and stick your 3M Hook in the middle of the wall. Just make sure your hook is placed straight.

Next, make a small V on the metal wire which we had secured to the back of the Canvas Print – this will help you make it easier for you to secure the metal wire onto the hook.

Lastly, you can use the bubble level to help you level and make sure that the wall canvases are straight.

Simple isn’t it!

HOW TO DISPLAY YOUR PRINTS?

What is a good height to place my wall canvases?

As a guide, the center of the piece should be at eye level and the bottom edge of your print is about 20 to 40cm above the piece of furniture you are hanging it. It should not be placed too high above as it might look like it is meant to be separated – sometimes making it look a little out of place. If you plan to put up a Canvas Collage or Gallery Wall, the largest pieces are usually placed at eye level, in the middle and the smaller ones are placed around them.

TIP: CANVAS COLLAGE

For some of you who want to put up a Gallery Wall, here is another small tip for you. If you are unsure how much spacing should go between each Canvas or Framed Print, you can leave about two inches between larger pieces and maybe about 1 inch between smaller pieces. These prints should not be too far apart from one another, the Canvas Collage should look like one complete set. I would say the bottom edge of the print should all end along the same line.

WHAT SIZE SHOULD I GET?

One of the most frequent questions we get from our customers is ‘What size should I get?’ or ‘What size do people usually print ?’. I would say for wall displays, people tend to go for 50CM x 70Cm or 60CM x 90CM if they only intend to put up one main piece. Alternatively, some would go for our panel canvas print. Of course, You can always fill up your wall with a canvas collage too! Hope all these small tips would make life even easier for you when hanging up your wall canvases!

We will be back soon, and in the meantime, have fun with your canvas prints! Cheers!
