Hello and welcome back for another PFF blog post. I’m sure most of you are well aware of the evolving COVID-19 pandemic. We’d like to start off this blog by saying a huge thank you to all the frontliners who are fighting this coronavirus.
Recently, Malaysia has barred all of their citizens from leaving as well tourists from visiting the country. Those who commute to Singapore everyday for work and school were greatly affected by the lockdown. It’s tough being away from their families just to provide for them. We saw various companies offering free accomodations for their employees who chose to stay in Singapore. We are grateful for workers and all the people/ companies who are offering help in this trying time.
Ever since the outbreak started, we’ve seen so many people sharing their stories with regards to the coronavirus or thanking the frontliners. From heartfelt videos to a simple tweet/ post, you see a lot of this positive content appearing on your feeds. You never know how much just a few kind words can go; especially for our healthcare workers.
Kind initiative launched by other brands
There are also other brands/ companies such as Old Chang Kee & MacDonald’s who are showing their support for the healthcare workers by providing them with free food/ drinks. The National Gallery has also launched an interesting campaign where they aim to show support for the frontliners through art. They are calling for public submissions and those selected would be displayed in public places in hospitals around Singapore.

Other ways to show support
Support can be shown in more ways than one. Be it whipping up a hearty meal after their shift or something as simple as a few kind words, all they need right now is the love and support from their loved ones.
