We would usually see this on Tumblr or Pinterest. So I decided to try it out and it turned out to be quite simple. I will be using the hexagonal shape. Go to the layer and right click on the layer you want to duplicate. In this case it would be the shape.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-8031\" src=\"https:\/\/printforfunsg.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/10\/screen-shot-2017-10-16-at-5-35-59-pm.png?resize=980%2C502\" alt=\"Duplicating Layer\" width=\"980\" height=\"502\"  data-recalc-dims=\"1\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Once duplicated another layer will appear. Do not be alarm if you don&#8217;t see it because it is on top of the original layer. So make sure that the copied layer (in this case the layer name is &#8216;Shape 1 Copy&#8217;) is selected as shown below.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" size-full wp-image-8037 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/printforfunsg.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/10\/screen-shot-2017-10-16-at-5-36-16-pm.png?resize=217%2C329\" alt=\"Layer Bar\" width=\"217\" height=\"329\"  data-recalc-dims=\"1\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Then you move the shape to anywhere you wish to place it. I am going to place it beside the original shape.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-8042 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/printforfunsg.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/10\/screen-shot-2017-10-16-at-5-37-08-pm.png?resize=498%2C473\" alt=\"Moving Shape\" width=\"498\" height=\"473\"  data-recalc-dims=\"1\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Then repeat the steps. I duplicated the layer about 6 times.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-8045 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/printforfunsg.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/10\/screen-shot-2017-10-16-at-5-41-31-pm.png?resize=506%2C503\" alt=\"Repeat Steps\" width=\"506\" height=\"503\"  data-recalc-dims=\"1\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The layers may look a bit messy and confusing so I&#8217;m going to rearrange the layers. Then press enter to place the image.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\" wp-image-8058 aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/printforfunsg.files.wordpress.com\/2017\/10\/screen-shot-2017-10-16-at-5-44-20-pm.png?resize=477%2C487\" alt=\"Placing Image\" width=\"477\" height=\"487\"  data-recalc-dims=\"1\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You can move it around and resize it using the cursor icon at the tools bar.<\/p>\n<p>The image layer will appear on the top as shown on the layer bar. I wanted this image for a specific shape. In this case it will be for &#8216;Shape 1&#8217;.
