We call lenticular pictures GIF prints<\/a> in our website. There are a few types of lenticular effects – some create an illusion of depth, others motion, or even transformation when viewed from different angles. We use a specialized printing technique combined with a lenticular lens, which is a transparent, ribbed plastic sheet composed of many tiny lenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lenticular pictures are popular because of a variety of reasons. The unique nature of lenticular prints creates a sense of novelty and intrigue, making them suitable for special events, premium product launches, and unique branding efforts. Lenticular prints also leave a stronger impression compared to static photo prints. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

    How Print For Fun prints lenticular pictures<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    In Print For Fun, we only print lenticular pictures with Flip effects, ie transition from one picture to another. For our smaller sized prints, we can accommodate up to 3 photos. For larger sized prints, 2 photos are the maximum we can have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Typically, the flip effect of our prints are created when the print is tilted downwards and upwards and downwards. This is because our eyes are able to see the flip effect when we tilt the prints this way. I understand some customers can special request and they would like to make the flip effect appear when the tilt is sideways. We once had a customer who wanted to include our gifs prints in their exhibition gallery, so their visitors can see the flip effect as they walk past their gallery. For that scenario, we customized our GIF prints just for them. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
