Digital photobook printing<\/a> has taken over with their sophisticated software, allowing users to best customise their perfect pages. But even that leaves out a pretty large portion of the interested audience – the busy and the not-so-creative.<\/p>\n

FAQ: DIGITAL Photobook PRINTING<\/strong><\/h2>\n

What are the specs? <\/b><\/h3>\n<\/blockquote>\n

Choose from 2 sizes – 6 inches x 6 inches <\/strong>or the 8 inches x 8 inches<\/strong>. For 42 photos<\/strong> (including the front and back covers) in each book, the 6″ <\/strong>is priced at $40 <\/strong>whereas the 8″ <\/strong>is priced at $48<\/strong>. If you require additional pages in your Photobook, do let us know. 2 additional pages will cost you $2 on the 6″ and $2.40 on the 8″. Just note that both sizes can have a maximum of 80 pages.<\/i><\/p>\n

HOW WILL THE PAGES LOOK LIKE?<\/b><\/h3>\n

All our photobook pages <\/i>will have a white border<\/i><\/strong>. Whether your image fills the whole square page (up till before the border) or not depends on whether your image is a <\/i>square<\/i><\/strong>, in <\/i>landscape<\/i><\/strong>, or in <\/i>portrait<\/i><\/strong>. By default, square images will fill it up, while landscape and portrait images will be <\/i>fit-to-print<\/i><\/strong> without cropping (i.e., there will be a thicker white border on the longer edge of the photo).<\/i><\/p>\n

HOW DO I START? <\/b><\/h3>\n

First, ensure that you have a <\/i>WhatsApp account<\/i><\/strong>. Then, simply visit our product page and click on the<\/i> \u201cChat to Order\u201d button<\/i><\/strong>. You will be taken to a WhatsApp chat – just <\/i>say hi<\/i><\/strong> and we\u2019ll get back to you as soon as possible! <\/i><\/p>\n

Since Whatsapp compresses photos, Will my photo resolutions be high enough if I send them through the chat?<\/b><\/h4>\n

For the 6″ photobook, WhatsApp’s photo resolution is sufficient given the relatively small print size. However for the 8″, this would not be ideal.<\/i><\/p>\n

To submit your photos for the 8″ book, you can choose from 3 options. Google Drive, Dropbox or We-Transfer. These methods do not compress your photos and hence it will not affect the resolution. Do label your photos according to the order you want them in. <\/i><\/p>\n

WHEN CAN I ADD CAPTIONS?<\/b><\/h3>\n

For the 6″, you may do so <\/i>while uploading<\/i><\/strong> your pictures by typing in the text space underneath the photo, as well as<\/i> after uploading<\/i><\/strong>, using the \u201cReply\u201d function.<\/i><\/p>\n

To submit your captions for the 8″ photobook, you can send them over via WhatsApp. Send over your caption with reference to the intended photo.<\/i><\/p>\n

DO YOU HAVE A DEFAULT FONT? CAN I CHANGE THE FONT?<\/b><\/h3>\n

We currently only offer <\/i>2 fonts<\/i><\/strong> for you to choose from. If you wish to customise a font, reach out to us and we\u2019ll see what we can do to help. <\/i><\/p>\n

CAN I VIEW MY PHOTO BOOKS AND MAKE EDITS BEFORE YOU PRINT IT OUT?<\/b><\/h3>\n

Yes, you will be sent a pdf preview of your photobook as soon as we\u2019re done crafting it. Let us know if you would like to make edits (e.g., swap pages, add captions, brighten or crop photos) and we\u2019ll do our best to accommodate your requests.<\/i><\/p>\n

HOW DO I MAKE PAYMENT?<\/b><\/h3>\n

After sending us your photos and choosing a shipping option, make payment either via <\/i>Paynow<\/i><\/strong>, <\/i>Paylah<\/i><\/strong>,<\/i> Paypal<\/i><\/strong>, or <\/i>funds transfer<\/i><\/strong>.<\/i><\/p>\n

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?<\/b><\/h3>\n

The photobooks will take some time to print and bind, so do give us <\/i>10 working days<\/i><\/strong> for the self-collection option (Free), and an <\/i>additional 2 working days<\/i><\/strong> for the Local standard shipping option ($5).<\/i><\/p>\n
