Do A4 fit 30×40 frame?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Yes it does! You need to select the 30×40 frame that come with a mount. Eg, the Ribba frame 30x40cm. Please note that there are other 30×40 photo frames that do not come with a mount. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ikea A3 frame size<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ikea does not sell in A sizes. They sell their frames according to their own size chart. A3 size is 29.7cm x 42cm. Ikea does not have a frame that size, but they have something close and that is 30cm x 40cm frame. You can buy that frame from Ikea and print a 30cm x 40cm photo print<\/a> from us. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Should I use Matboards?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Matboards are generally used when displaying portrait photos. This is because matboard helps the photos to stand out while bringing more attention to the main subject. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Balancing the size of the photos and the frames is also an important factor to consider. In some cases, it may be better to not use a matboard. However, for larger spaces and bigger frames, the use of a mat board can make your photo look more artistic. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do note that not all matboards are created equal. Therefore, it may be a better idea to create a white digital border around your photo prints instead! This allows you to achieve the look of having a matboard without uneven sides. <\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometimes, we have customers who have photos that will be cropped if using the ikea mat board. What we do is to create the artificial white border around your image, but leave you with the choice of putting on the mat board or not. See below for example.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Centre: We create an artificial white border around your image, but do not crop your image<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Right: Is the same print as the centre frame, but overlay on top with the ikea frame mat board. The mat board covers (and hence crop) the left and right sides of the image.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
