PFF’s guide to creating posters

Hello everybody. Welcome back to the PFF blogpost. Today we will be elaborating about our poster creation tool. Perhaps you have a friend’s birthday coming up or you want to arrange pictures into a collage but aren’t sure how to. Don’t worry. PFF has got you covered. We will be showing you a step by step guide on how you can create your collage. We will also be covering some potential questions some of you may ask.

FAQ

Can I change the image/layout/background/text after I submit my order?

Unfortunately, you cannot change any of the options after submitting your order. Do finalize your image before submitting.

When will I get my prints?

Depending on how early you need them you can select the various shipping options available. You can refer to our website for more details.

What if the images come out blur?

To prevent this, try to use the original images. Images taken from Facebook, WhatsApp etc will have their resolution affected and this may result in the image being blur.

What type of images suit the Insta poster or square frames?

The best images to use are square images. If you use non-square images, you will have to crop the images. You can do so by dragging the images in the builder until it is to your satisfaction.

Square Frame

Our square frames come in 4 different colours. Black, white, wood and blue. Do select the colour that you prefer. After selecting your preferred colour, you should select your desired layout.

Selecting the layout

Our square frames come in 3 different layouts. 2×2, 3×3 and 4×4.

Once you selected your layout, you will be able to have a quick view of how the layout will turn out. Next, select on the upload photos to upload your photos into the builder.

Uploading images

Here you can select the size of the photos you would want to upload. We recommend that you upload the original size so that the image will not come out blurry. You can also select to upload your photos from Facebook. Once you have uploaded the images, the system will prompt you to see if you would like to autofill the images you uploaded. Should you decide against this, you can still manually input your photos.

Adjusting the images

When you select each image individually, you can edit the image by:

  • increasing the zoom
  • rotating the image
  • adjusting the opacity of the image.

Once you are done editing the image, ensure that the images you see in the preview are adjusted to the centre. You can do so by clicking on each image in the square frame and dragging it until it is in the centre.

Adding background colour

Perhaps you may be thinking the white background looks a little plain. I would like to add in some colour. Fret not, we have got you covered. You can add in a background colour via the background function. Simply click on the background function and select your desired colour.

Adding a special message

If you want to include a special note for the recipient, simply use the add text function and drag the text box to an empty space and type in your special message. The font, font size and line spacing all can be adjusted. Do choose the one that you like the most.

A tip when creating the text box: Try not to put the text box too near the edges of the print as it may get truncated off when we frame the print.

Checkout

Once done, click on save and add to cart. The shipping options will appear when you are ready to check out. From there, select the shipping option that you prefer the most.

Insta Posters

Our Insta Posters come in either A sizes or Ikea sizes.

A sizes for Insta Posters

Ikea sizes for Insta Posters

There are 2 different types of orientations to select from, either landscape or portrait for both the A sizes and Ikea sizes. As for uploading, adding of images, changing the background colour, adding in text the steps are the same as those of the square frame.
